  • GNSS data are recorded near Rittershoffen at ECOG, RITT, STUN and HATN stations and are provided by the operator ECOGI (ECOG, RITT) and EOST (STUN, HATN). Data format is Rinex. The stations are described :https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/GNSS-Stations See : https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/Obsnef-Gnss/situation.php for stations location and data availability

  • The EstOF network consists in 288 miniaturized seismic stations (Zland nodes, 1C, 10Hz) installed between August 25th 2014 and September 30th 2014 in the Outre-Forêt region (Alsace, France) around the deep geothermal sites of Soultz-sous-Forêts and Rittershoffen. A regular grid of 260 stations separated by ~1.4km forms the backbone of the network, which was completed by a denser array of 28 stations every ~400m around the Rittershoffen site. This data has been acquired in the framework of the LABEX ANR-11-LABX-0050-G-EAU-THERMIE-PROFONDE and benefits from a funding from the state managed by the French National Research Agency (ANR) as part of the ‘Investments for the Future’ program. It has also been funded by the EGS Alsace Grant from ADEME. The seismic equipment was deployed during the summer 2014 by the EstOF Team : J. Vergne, M. Bès de Berc, H. Blumentritt, N. Cuenot, C. Doubre, R. Dretzen, Z. Duputel, F. Engels, M. Grunberg, H. Jund, S. Lambotte, O. Lançon, M. Lehujeur, O. Lengliné, A. Maggi, V. Maurer, M. Schaming, J. Schmittbuhl, H. Wodling. Equipment and support was provided by the Fairfield Nodal company during the EstOF experiment. Details of the experiment and data analysis can be found in : Lehujeur, M., Vergne, J., Schmittbuhl, J., Zigone, D., Le Chenadec, A. and the EstOF Team (2018) - Reservoir imaging using ambient noise correlation from a dense seismic network. • GNSS data are recorded near Soultz-sous-Forêts at GPK1 and GPK2 stations and are provided by the operator GEIE EMC. Data format is Rinex. The stations are described (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/GNSS-Stations). • Description of GNSS stations set up around geothermal sites in Alsace. One station must be commissioned by the operator and its data are public. See target station locations and data availability (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/Obsnef-Gnss/situation.php).

  • The aim of the GeORG project (Geopotentials of the deep Upper Rhine Graben, https://www.geopotenziale.org/home/index_html) was to create a 3D model of the geological structure of the Upper Rhine Graben down to a depth of several kilometers. The project began in October 2008 and ended in December 2012. GeORG offers a complete geoscientific information base. Maps showing the deep structure and spatial distribution of geological layers and temperatures have been extracted. Geological cross-sections can be generated over the entire study area and in all directions. These show the stratigraphic position and stacking of layers in space. GeORG has created an information access platform for companies, public and private project developers and research organizations. The results are accessible to all at https://maps.geopotenziale.eu. Several products from the GeORG mapviewer around Rittershoffen site are extracted.

  • Velocity model used by M. Calò and C. Dorbath. The velocity was derived from sonic logs operated by Schlumberger in GPK1 (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/SSF-GPK1) and from transit times for shots fired inside GPK1 at different levels and recorded on the IMRG downhole network (Beauce et al., 1991). The catalogue of events located during 2003 stimulation using the downhole and the surface network is available here (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/SSFS2003-catalogue). • The microseismic network in operation during the 1994 circulation was essentially the same as that used in the 1993 experimental programme. It consisted of three accelerometers (4-component sensors) built by the CSMA in boreholes 4550 (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/SSF-4550), 4601, 4616 and a single hydrophone in EPS1 (https://cdgp.u-strasbg.fr/geonetwork/srv/fre/catalog.search#/metadata/SSF-EPS1) (Baria, R., 1996.The European HDR programme 1992-1995). The X,Y,Z coordinates in the file refer to the local coordinate system with the GPK1 wellhead as origin: X: Easting in meters from GPK1 wellhead (toward magnetic East) Y: Northing in meters from GPK1 wellhead (toward magnetic North) Z: Depth in meters from GPK1 wellhead The local coordinate system is based on the UTM32 system. The coordinates of the stations in the local coordinate system have been obtained from the thesis from S. Bourouis (Sismicité induite et comportement mécanique d'un massif granitique fracturé par injection d'eau). The latitude, longitude and elevation in the WGS84 coordinate system have been derived from the local coordinate system. Last update of data: 24/07/2019
